Special Event: Exploring EPA Standards & Understanding the Congressional Review Act
Co-hosted by the Breathe Again Collaborative
February 22
4PM (Eastern) | 1PM (Pacific)
Monty Jones from the Climate Action Campaign will join us to discuss the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed standards to clean up pollution, critical steps in addressing the climate crisis. He will report on the status of the various EPA standards that we asked you to comment on last year, help us understand the EPA’s timeline, and discuss what is needed to finalize and protect these standards, including the threats posed by the Congressional Review Act (CRA). Once rarely used, the CRA is now being applied by those opposing tighter regulations and could jeopardize our ability to clean our air to protect our health and the environment. Monty will connect us to an important action we can take to help push the standards over the finish line.
